Written Comprehension: The person can understand familiar nouns, names and easy sentences, posters and catalogs.

Language Structure: Basic grammatical competences. The person can master only elementary structures which allows him to enforce minimal communicational capacities in familiar fields.

Oral Comprehension: The person can understand familiar words and current expressions concerning him, his family or his environment if people speak slowly and clearly.

Oral Expression: The person can use expressions and simple sentences to describe the place where he lives and people he knows.

Written Expression: The person can redact a simple postcard; fill in a personal survey (name, nationality, address).
